Top Shelf returns for its 8th episode with Kyle Richter, Eric Kroshus and WHRB's Brendan Roche to talk about the upcoming Beanpot.
In the second part of this episode, join Kyle, Eric, and Brendan as well as special guest, freshman goaltender Raphael Girard for more on the team's charity works as well as the reasons to come on Top Shelf.
In the first part of this extended edition of Top Shelf, Kyle, Eric and Brendan are joined by freshman netminder Raphael Girard. After getting to know Raph, the conversation turns to the newest member of the Harvard hockey family, a boy adopted through the Friends of Jaclyn foundation by the team.
Top Shelf kicks off 2011 with an all new episode. Kyle Richter, Eric Kroshus, and this week's guest Danny Fick join WHRB's Brendan Roche to discuss the holiday break, the World Juniors, Harvard's previous and upcoming games, and in an unaired feature, the Winter Classic and HBO's 24/7. As always, the show ends with stick salutes and includes some dining tips for visiting Harvard Square.
In the second part of this special holiday episode of Top Shelf, Kyle and Eric challenge one another to a gingerbread house building competition (with some prompting by Brendan) and discuss the upcoming game against Quinnipiac and the holiday tournament in Vermont that will start 2011. As always, the end of the episode brings stick salutes.
With plenty to talk about during the long holiday break, we have two new episodes of Top Shelf for you, including content not heard on the air. In this first part, we talk about finals at Harvard, Christmas break plans, outdoor hockey, the team Christmas party and Secret Santa gifts.
On the fourth episode of Top Shelf, freshman Dan Ford joins regular hosts Kyle Richter, Eric Kroshus and WHRB's Brendan Roche. We get to know a little bit about Dan, talk Thanksgiving and complain about the traffic problems for everyone heading to Princeton. As always, we present our Stick Salutes at the end of the episode.
The first guest of the season enters as freshman Danny Fick joins the usual booth of co-hosts Kyle Richter and Eric Kroshus with WHRB's Brendan Roche. We get to know Danny Fick, talk about the Garden State, and get a review of the movies the freshmen brought on the bus to the North Country.
As Harvard headed to the North Country, Ricks and Kro discuss the long road trip rituals, including movie watching, the ideal roommates, and the team's pregame meal. They also discuss last week's games versus Union and RPI.
